Introduction

I am a 37 year old male living in Cape Town, South Africa. Besides being a bmw fanatic (I own an e46 m3 -> check out http://e46m3owner.blogspot.com) I am also a rotary fan. The first time i was exposed to these cars I was about 21 years old. I was amazed by the power generated from such a small engine. Back then I knew I had to have one someday. Only 2 years ago did I finally take the plunge and buy one. It was a 1982 first gen RX7. The first owner kept it for 2 years and the second owner kept it for 20 years ! What follows is a detailed account of owning an rx7, including an engine swap.
